  4. Hi there Peter You are quite correct..."B.." Woodley DID have an American car...it was a Hudson, and from memory, it was silvery blue (I could be corrected on the colour)...as someone else has already mentioned, he changed the Hudson for a Fawn/Beige Armstrong Siddeley with canvas top. Reference the photo you supplied of the 1952 (I think it was) prefects...front row L/H side is Dennis Hewlett...he and I used to visit all the back street garages and workshops of Winchester looking for different makes of cars...we found many, some makes, I have never seen since...I am sure that he also will remember Mr.Woodley's cars. Incidentally, can ANYONE supply me with a list of names of those prefects ? ...some I can name, but most I recognise the faces, but cannot put a name to them. Take care all...regards...Doug Clews (1944 - 1950)... Western Australia

  5. G' day Doug   The names of the 51/52 prefects which John Forder and I think we know are already posted under a message headed 'Prefects Photo : 51/52' somewhere on this Message Board.   Let me know if cyber gremlins are preventing a successful find, and I'll e-mail you direct.   Regards   Peter
